BPM Business Incubator: CeCe Olisa Takes Her Beauty Brand to the LA3C Festival

This past week, at Penske Media’s inaugural LA3C festival—a two-day music, art, and food festival celebrating the rich culture and immense creativity of Los Angeles—SHE Media’s Meaningful Marketplace continued its mission of economic empowerment. The Meaningful Marketplace showcased 20 minority and women-owned businesses, thus giving festival goers a chance to shop with purpose. Among these 20 wonderful vendors was SHE Media Collective member Cece Olisa.

Cocoa by CeCe—a simple body care routine to nurture self-love, self-care, and self-confidence—was developed by CeCe Olisa in partnership with the BPM Black-Owned Business Incubator. Cocoa by Cece products include Doll Butter, Self-Love Scrub, and a special edition 3-Piece Gift Set.

“I love everything that MMP LA3C stands for, and I’m happy to be part of it. As a curvy, chocolate-colored, black girl with natural hair, it can be hard to feel seen as an Influencer/Entrepreneur. SHE Media has supported me from the beginning of my influencer journey, through the success of my first company and now the launch of my latest venture, Cocoa by CeCe. SHE Media holds a very special place in my influencer story and my heart!” – Cece Olisa, Founder, Cocoa by Cece

At Cece’s LA3C MMP booth, visitors were able to not only shop but play fun games and take home a delightful heart-shaped mug as a gift with purchase.

Congratulations CeCe and the entire Cocoa by CeCe team on this successful event!
